We're a nation of coffee lovers!

Whether it’s an espresso, macchiato or cappuccino, Britons consume over 511 million cups of coffee a week, with more than 2 in 5 of those (44%) being passed over counters at the country's ubiquitous coffee houses.

Research from VillaWare - manufacturers of premium die-cast kitchen appliances - reveals that the average Brit spends over £450 each year on coffee and for those who drink more than 21 cups per week, the bill rises to over £2000 per year. Yet, as the recession bites, more and more people are making premium coffee at home in specialist kitchen gadgets such as the VillaWare Espresso maker.
