Breast Cancer Care is only a phone call or mouse click away for anyone who is affected by breast cancer. The free helpline, information-packed website and online forums offer a friendly ear and expert advice to those dealing with the turmoil of this life-threatening illness. Across the UK the charity also offers skilled emotional and practical support through a range of confidential, face-to-face services, helping people every step of the way. Their services remain free thanks to the generosity of people like you. Whatever you decide to do for your Strawberry Tea, the money you raise will make a huge difference to those who look to Breast Cancer Care for help. 


Here are a few examples of what your money can do:

£23 pays for a call to the charity's helpline for up-to-date information on any aspect of diagnosis and treatment as well as confidential and sensitive support on the personal impact of the disease. Taking as much time as a caller needs, conversations can last over an hour.

£132 pays to connect someone going through breast cancer with a trained volunteer who has had a similar experience to them. We know how much reassurance and encouragement people can get from talking to someone who has been there, so we take care to find the best match we can for each individual.

£192 pays for us to train a health worker to run breast health workshops in their community. The two-day course builds the skills and confidence to promote breast awareness, covering signs, symptoms and risks and promoting the importance of early detection and breast screening.
