Whats your favorite Delia recipe?
Puddings- mine has got to be pavlova -its my standard fall back when I am asked to supply a pudding
Main course - Delias Paella/chicken basque / Salmon fishcakes / braised beef with mushrooms and madeira are the ones I make the most
Starters -delias slow roasted vegetable soup
How about the rest of you?

The ones that immediately spring to mind are Pesto Rice Salad and that fabulous Coconut Layer Cake or is that just because I made them both recently?

All my "I'll make it again" recipes go into my Bible and I deeply regret not referencing where they came from as I haven't a clue where most of them originated.

Hi Jools
Well I suppose my all time fav & reliable that I turn to year after year is Delia's Irish Whiskey Christmas Cakes! Yummie! Never let me down!

Then on a more regular basis, it would have to be her Leek & Pasta Bake (I have tweeked it a tad, to add Chicken & a few other bits & bobs to) but is a great standby & ultimate in comfort food!

The one I do again and again is the brisket in red wine with onion marmalade (I think it's in the winter collection) I don't always do the onion marmalade though. We always have this brisket for Christmas dinner - oh, I've used the "C" word in July!

Braised steak in madeira with mushrooms. Make it a couple of times a month at least.

Hi Jools, hope you are feeling OK today,
Mine are :- Beef in Designer Beer, Truffle Torte, Pickled Green Brean Chutney. I alway use the Christmas cake recipe for any celebrations cakes I do, (pics in Gallery)
Chunky Marmalade B & B Pudding...to name but a few, lots more, Oh and recently it is the Old Fashioned Baked Custard Tart........delish !!

My favourites vary according to time of year but I love Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce. Current fav dessert is hot citrus pudding, in fact having it tonight!

Hi Jools, glad you feel well enough to come on here!
My all time favourite is Delia's Bolognaise Sauce, been making it so long I don't need the recipe any more! Also like Beef in beer, always a favourite with the family.
Delia's Rich Fruit Cake has been made for Christmas since the Book of Cakes was published and I have made it umpteen times for weddings and birthdays!

Creole Prawns are proving very popular lately, but probably my favourite is Beef in designer beer or Braised Steak ua Poivre.

My favourites include her Chicken on BBQ sauce, Buttery Kedgeree and her Ragu Bolognese- works all the time and unfailingly delicious too!

My favourites are Delia's Christmas cake, Dundee cake, Marmalade, also her quick flaky pastry, vegetarian galettes, veggie sausage rolls, cheese, olive sundried scones. Vegetarian Moussaka.
