I know this is an oldie but I do enjoy seeing what culinery delights your are all serving up at the weekend.
Tonight, I am cooking a tuna pasta bake with oven roasted veggies (courgettes and peppers). Tomorrow, I'm thinking burritos and Sunday, we're off out to dinner with the family as it's my nephew's birthday and I shall be having a carvery - yum! Luv, Loopy XXXX
PS - Really must post some recipes on this site - never get round to it as I mainly come on here when I'm at work (we're allowed when work is quiet - woo hoo!)
My 6½lb free range duck last weekend was so good I plan to get another from the butcher and do it again, with new potatoes, gravy with the previous duck stock, plus a stack of veg from the box.
i'm doing the HTC goulash tonight for the in-laws. was supposed to do it last night but found that OH had left an empty bottle of paprika on the spice rack. he got a lashing.
As it happens, OH and I will be dining at Silverstone tomorrow. Come on Lewis!
my mum and dad are going to silverstone too! my sister works for kingfisher and the force india team so we got my mum and dad some amazing tickets. i'm the only one who isn't going to be there. bit gutted :(

same here- not organised at all yet for the weekend- but gerry mentioned duck- i have one in our neighbours freezer (one of ours-previously known as Jeff- sorry!) and have been promising to cook it chinese stylie with pancakes and plum sauce so might do that on sunday.
hope you all have a good one :-)
Calves liver tonight, not sure how I will cook it yet but probably with Marsala; quite getting into that (seems much cheaper on this side of the channel). Tomorrow will be pizza, really enjoy making them now and Sunday we are going out for supper.
Have a great weekend everyone. Biggs
We're having pizza delivered tonight - well, I am, OH will have a kebab (eurgggh). Planning on macaroni cheese tomorrow, Delia's mum's and I'm thinking of seafood linguine on Sunday but haven't planned the rest of the week yet.
Haven't thought about the weekend.....
Spaghetti with tomato sauce tonight. I shall speak to my Lord and Master and see if he has any preferences.

We had an authentic Chicken Korma tonight - not the English version and I didn't much care for it. That's two night's on the run I've had a lousy dinner. Last night I did the Smoked Cod and Cannellini Beans from Nigella's Express which I couldn't eat at all. Tomorrow better be good! Having Leek and Potato Bake for lunch (safe, I've done that before) and then a Namibian Bobotie for dinner minus the sultanas - I can't abide the things; they make me shudder! Sunday, a simple dish of chicken thighs baked in the oven with garlic and herbs, accompanied by fried new potatoes and kohlrabi from my partner's dad's allotment. Will also toss a few of his broad beans in a pan with strips of smoked streaky bacon for lunch.
Forgot to say - I'm rather excited at the prospect of trying a Coconut Cheesecake at some point.
I'm going out to a Pub Lunch today with 12 "girls" that I used to work with. Haven't seen some of them for years! Should be good fun. Tomorrow (Sunday) we are going to a Fish Festival in Aberaeron - weather doesn't look too good but there should be some good fish meals available and will be with some good company so should be very enjoyable whatever the weather. Dottie Mayx
Ah, its all about the company Dottie May!!!
Last night, we went out to a local indian. Its a really excellent one. I was told that most indian places used bought in sauces which put me off a bit, but I dont think this can be the case at ours as they leave the onion out of dishes for me! Anyway, regardless, it is always very good, and very reasonable. Was £26 last night inc wine!
To be fair, we were not starving, but even if we were, we would only have ordered one extra dish....
Lunch for Marciboy is some of those M&S half price prawns that they have at the mo. I'll do a small stir fry for him, a few rice noodles, bit of veg and some coconut, ginger and lemongrass sauce. He loved it last time, so I only hope I can remember how I did it!
Tonight may well be that £10 offer from M&S. We dont always eat at the tabelI'm afraid, but I thought I'd go for it tonight and set the table up, light a candle. Bit of romance! Why not!?!?!?
Sunday lunch will be roast chicken. We had one last week two, but Marc has requested it again, and if I can keep the old boy happy by doing a roast chicken, then Im happy to do so..... I don't know why roast dinners fluster some people, I find them a doddle!!! I think I'll ask our friend Cris to join us too, as have not seen her for a couple of weeks.....
However.....

LOL Jamesybabes! I love roast dinners too and they are a doddle, so relaxing to cook I think!
Our weekend kicked off with an M&S £10 dinner - vegetarian moussaka (scrummy!) and a house salad, a bottle of claret and melting chocolate puddings. (Err didnt eat all of mine - 500 cals a pop!). Nice for a treat though.
Tonight am off out with the girls so we are starting off with tapas and then drinkies and a concert.
Tomorrow its roast chicken, by heck you just can't beat it.

I have some jumbo prawns in the freezer that I think I might do something with for tonight. But we're helping some friends out this afternoon on a project, and may possibly get given supper, so I won't defrost them until later. (Bit difficult to ask if they plan to feed us!)
For tomorrow, I have a fillet of pork that I'll roast with a splash of lemon and oregano.
Out tonight - Thai Green Chicken Curry for tomorrow (already made and in the freezer). It's a low fat recipe, but really tasty. Might put it on my profile if anyone's interested. You make the curry paste from scratch, for which the mini chopper used by Delia is an absolute boon!
