After scrubbing and springcleaning all day, I decided that since it was Friday, or in fact any day, I`d open a nice bottle of white as a reward.

None in the fridge, thought I`d loads, too tired to go to the shop, and too grubby, but there are about 5 bottles of red. Good ones, bad ones, but it makes no difference as I just can`t drink it.

When my friends come, they seem to drink white all night, (and the more I have the more they drink) yet they bring red. WHY? Looks like some beef casseroles will be made soon.....

Does this ever happen to you? What is your favourite wine?

Red is my choice, I keep the white for cooking - though I'm hardly drinking at all at the moment, I can't stand the look of puzzlement on Jerry's face as he tries to work out just what it was I tried to say !!

Red Burgundy, white burgundy, Alsace Riesling, Champagne and Rose for me. But we had a lovely red last night - from Bergerac. It was yummy.

I am an all white girl!
Sort of like red - but not really - never choose it - tho would drink it if there was nothing else (how bad is that???)
My real love is sparkling white! - but can't afford champagne every night - so am a cava girl! Just opening another bottle now!

How long will it take you all to get here? 2 bottles of Shiraz something, one of Chateauneuf du Pape which I`ll keep, one of Gevrey Chambertin, and a large M@S non descript.

I`ve resorted to a vodka and elderflower - now on the 2nd!!

hic. Seems like you`re mostly red drinkers. Love rose myself, but there isn`t any of that either :-(

White or rosé but red wine makes me ill (headaches, sickness). Hubby cannot drink white, so when we go out to eat we can never order a bottle between the two, we usually make do with the a glass of the house wine each, which is not always very nice...

A good full bodied red for me. Let me know when you're opening the Chateauneuf du Pape and I'll pop over.

Anushka, my OH only drinks beer of vod, so I have to drink a whole bottle myself. That`s worse!

Oh Honey, you`ve no chance. One of my son`s has just informed me it was a Christmas presie to him when he was here and NO ONE`S TO TOUCH IT.
