I am hoping somebody can help me locate a set of half pans. Many, many years ago I was given a set of Swan ones and then managed to purchase a cheaper version of split pan but daughter "lifted" these when she left home.
With fuel prices going up so much I wondered whether anybody had seen these recently. The two halves sit on one ring, in effect it is a large round pan "cut" in two. A friend used to have a set of three triangular ones but I wasn't too keen on these as they only had one handle which had to be slotted to lift each pan.
Any help in locating these or something similar would be greatly appreciated.
Sonia
Hi Sonia,
I still have the three piece set you describe with only one handle.
Find them really useful some times, especially for Christmas when cooking loads of different veg.
Have you tried e-bay?
Punch in AGA and you'll often find the the two and three part pans for sale.
Hope this helps,
TC

Never heard of them, sound like a good idea!
Mum had the ones you described, they were so useful especially at Christmas and catering for hoardes.
I've seen something similar in a pull out section of the radio times, Betterware or mums magazine.
Sorry I cannot be of anymore help, good luck in locating them, if you see them let me know and I'll see if I can get some for when I move out mums flat.
I don't think these are actually "half pans", but I think that Lakeland do a range of pots and pans for one person. I am absolutely convinced though that my late grandma Kate used to have a set of these half-pans. Although that's of no use to you, Sonia. But do give Lakeland a go.
Hi Sonia and Michele, Lakeland do do pans but they also do a pan divider where you can cook two or three different veggies in one pan. Saw them yesterday in Lakeland Bromley and thought what a good idea if only one or two of you.

Thanks everybody for your help. Had a look on ebay, somebody has an old pair for sale but like mine one handle has "broken".
Not too keen on the idea of cooking in dividers in one pan as I think flavours will mingle, still can use my steamers for some veg.
I thought others may be interested as it is a way of having two small (not too small) pans on one ring thus saving fuel. Hopefully some pan manufacturer may decide to make some - wishful thinking!
Again my thanks.
Sonia
