Apologies if this has been asked before, but I opened a pack of flour tortillas for lunch and now have an open pack. In the past I have wrapped in foil and placed in the fridge or wrapped in plastic and stored out of the fridge but they never keep well and dry out quickly. How does anyone else deal with them? Can I freeze them like pancakes? Any help cheerfully accepted. Thanks chillie

I always keep a pack of tortillas in the freezer. I would just wrap an opened pack in foil or seal in a plastic bag. Make sure they are thawed before using, otherwise they will be difficult to handle. If you don't think you'll need them all, it's advisable to wrap separately so you don't have to prise them apart!

Thanks Essex Girl. I will try freezing the remainder individually from now on. chillie

i always buy M&S tortillas or mission deli ones because i find these separate easily even when frozen so you dont have to wrap seperately. Other brands seem to stick together more when frozen so you cant take just one out of the freezer!

Just noticed that I have an opened pack of Tesco organic flour tortillas in the freezer. Got them out and checked - they separate easily, too.
