I was watching Gardeners World last night. Does anyone know why Monty Don won`t be on it until mid June. It seemed a very sudden disappearance and wasn`t scheduled according to the Radio Times. I wonders if he`s ill.

I've just had a hunt round the website Karen, and apart from somebody commenting 'even though I miss Monty Don' I can't find another lead on this. Mystery ...

I believe he is jet setting around the world for a new tv series or series of articles. OH and I had a chuckle on Friday after the concerns mentioned about global warming and things. I really can't remember where we found this out but I'm pretty sure this is the reason and not due to ill health. Biggs

I think he's taken a well earned rest as he almost died from peritonitis, during his filming of 80 gardens around the world. marilyn
