Has anyone a suggested alternative for dry Marsala wine as mentioned in Delia's Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce as can only find sweet Marsala wine in stores.
Dry sherry has been suggested as a replacement, and I think you would have to be a bit of an expert to notice the difference.
Amontilado sherry. It's still a little dry but has a richer flavour than a dry sherry. It's also a lot cheaper than a dry Masala.
