Have just had a very apologetic letter from Lakeland apologising about the huge delay in my order of a mini-chopper. They say the demand has been phenomenal and they are struggling to keep up. It may be another 6 weeks before they can get any more. May well try some of the other suggestions of good mini choppers which have been recommended on this website.

Hi Clair - my friend got one of those too - but then a week later her chopper(!) arrived. I was fortunate to pick one up from Comet for my brother today. I just went in store and ordered it through their computer system and it only took a couple of days. They have got some in the warehouse at Comet - so might be worth a go?

Have you tried Robert Dyas? They did have plenty at one time and you can buy on line. It was quite expensive for carriage but they sent mine next day delivery.

The local comet doesn't appear to have a delay, but the price seems to have increased by £1

Here in Belgium it's not possible to find the Kenwood mini-chopper (at least in my local Vandenborre) so today I bought a Moulinex Multi-Trio mini-chopper. It seems to work in the same way as the famous 1-2-3. I grated some Parmesan and made breadcrumbs in it this afternoon. I have yet to make other preparations but so far, so good!
