2oz butter, 2 medium potatoes peeled and diced, 2 medium onions chopped, 1lb broccoli cut into florets, 900ml stock chicken or veg, 4oz cheese cubed, 150ml milk or cream, salt and pepper, ½teaspoon sugar and a grating of nutmeg
