Gourmet Shrimp Chowder

Serve immideiately with crusty bread such as baguette or bloomer. Feeds 4.
Ingredients
500g boiled shrimp,1 onion finely chopped,1 piece celeriac root,2 tbsp butter or margerine,3 tbsp flour,500 ml (2 cups) milk or whipping cream,200 ml (3/4 cups) fish stock,300 ml (1 1/4 cups) dry white wine,salt & pepper to taste
Method
Thaw shrimp if frozen. Menawhile chop oninos & celeriac in to small pieces. Melt butter in a large saucepan, add onion & celeriac mix around pan until translucent. Sprinkle flour then add stock, cream & wine. Cover tightly & simmer for 15 minutes.Add shrimp and season with salt & pepper. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
