Submitted by cynthiazep 26 June 2014

Who doesn’t love bacon? :)

1 pound sliced bacon (cut in half)

1 pound pitted dates

4 ounces of blue cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to around 375 degrees F
  2. You should then slice the dates in half then open them up
  3. Pinch off pieces of blue cheese and place them at the center of the dates
  4. Close the halves of the dates
  5. Wrap a half-slice of bacon around the outside
  6. To secure it, you could use toothpick
  7. Arrange the pieces in a baking dish
  8. Bake it for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven or check if the bacon is crispy already
  9. Turn dates over after the first 20 minutes for even cooking
  10. Use plastic platters (optional)
  11. Serve and enjoy
