This soup is one of my mother's, however, I have changed it a little due to being a vegetarian - my mother adds chicken and bacon in hers.
This soup is a wonderful starter or a small meal when you come in from the freezing winter cold.
This cures the worst of winter 'flus and sniffles, but you don't have to be ill to enjoy this!!

Use Delias Leek, Onion and Potatoe Soup recipie and instead of ordinary potatoes use Sweet Potatoes. Also add a chopped garlic clove to the onions etc., when you steam the veg. When you add the veg stock and milk also add half a glass of white wine
