Orange Chutney

Ingredients
6 Oranges,225g (8oz) onions,450g (1lb) chopped dates - pre chopped ones from the bakery sction of Supermarkets are fine for this,10 Green chillies de-seeded ,2 Tsp ground ginger,450g (1lb) Dark brown sugar,1 tsp salt,600ml (1Pint) Malt spiced pickling vinegar
Method
Cut oranges into quarters, remove pips and place into a food processor. Process until smooth. Peel & add onions to processor with the chillies. Process again until finely chopped. Add the dates and process again until chopped finely. Dissolve sugar in vinegar over a low heat, add all processed ingrdients, ginger & salt & cook until no free flowing vinegar. Pot whilst hot and seal straight away.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
