Apple, date & red pepper chutney

Easy and delicious.
Ingredients
2kg cooking apples chopped, 2 red peppers diced, 225g dates chopped, 25g ginger grated, 15g mixed pickling spice crushed, scant tsp salt, 2 tsps mixed spice, 900g dark sugar, 900ml cider vinegar
Method
Place all ingredients in large pan, gently dissolve sugar, bring to a fast boil. Simmer 30-40 mins until desired consistency is reached. Spoon into jars.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
