Brown and Seal chops ( or chicken)
Place into a large covered casserole dish or slow cooker crock pot
Fry Onion in a frying pan until golden brown and just starting to go dark on the edges, add to casserole
Pour off remaining oil, add the stock and the mixture of dry and liquid ingredients, de-glaze the pan and bring mixture up to the boil.
Pour over the chops (or chicken) and cook for 1 to 1& 1/2 hours on Gas Mark 4 150c or if you are using a crock pot for around 2-3 hrs depending on the setting.
Thicken with the cornflour mixed with a little water and cook for a further 15mins.

Pork with Ginger and Mustard A wonderfully rounded dish, full of flavour, and can be made with Chicken Breasts if you prefer. Delicious as an informal lunch or a formal Dinner. Great dish as you can prepare before and just heat up, cook in a crock
Ingredients
4 Pork Chops (or Chicken Breasts if you prefer),1 medium onion - chopped,2 Tbsp Tomato Puree,3/4 pint chicken stock,1-2 heaped tsp of dried English mustard and ground ginger,(don't worry if you have the already made stuff that will be just as good),1-2 Tbsps of Worcester Sauce, Vinegar, Lemon Juice & Brown Sugar,1Tbsp Oil,salt & pepper,2 tbsp Cornflour - to thicken
