Chinesy Turkey (Pork Chicken...whatever!) and Cucumber

Submitted by Cat Heckford 11 June 2009

once off the heat, stir in sliced spring onions and serve with long grain rice and plenty more soy!!

Diced Meat - can be Turkey / Pork / Chicken,Soy Sauce,Rice Wine Vinegar,Ginger,Garlic,Five Spice,Crushed Chillis,a Cucumber (or half for 2 people) cut into strips about 2 inches long and quite thin!,Spring Onions (sliced thinly),and whatever veg you may want to throw in (for example I used baby asparagus last night with it!),

heat a wok and put about a tablespoon of oil in to lubricate.

gently fry the garlic, ginger and chilli (add amounts suitable to taste)

add the turkey and brown on all sides.

add about a tsp of five spice for 2 people and a tbsp for 4 people.

approx a tbs of rice wine vinegar and 2 tbsp of soy

throw in the cucumber and whatever other veg you may want (eg the asparagus tips) although I would keep this to green veg.

cook for 20 mins or until meat is done and veg is soft (not mush)
