Cheesy Vegetable bake

Any veg is good in this bake -whatever is in season

 
 
 
 

Ingredients

150g broad beans,200g broccoli,175g leeks - or any veg in season,For the cheese sauce,75g Cheddar grated ,1 pint/570ml milk ,1½oz/40g plain flour ,1½oz/40g butter ,Spoon mustard powder,For the topping,50g breadcrumbs,25g sunflower seeds,50g chedder grated,,

Method

Preheat oven to 190'c
Cook veg (boil or steam ) till tender
Put in oven proof dish
Place the milk, flour, butter and Mustard powder into a saucepan and place it over a gentle heat. Then, using a balloon whisk, begin to whisk while bringing it to a gentle simmer. Whisk continually until you have a smooth, sauce.
Add cheese and stir. Pour over vegetables
Top with breadcrumbs, cheese and sunflower seeds
Bake for 20 mins
