Baked Mince and Onions

Serve with vegetables of your chocie or some nice crusty granary bread.



1lb Minced eef,Two large handfuls Sainsuburys soup mix,One large spanish onion,1 tin chopped tomatoes ,small bottle of beer (bitter),salt and pepper ,Worcestershire sauce


Soak the soup mix overnight. Next day simmer it for 30 mins. Saute the onion in oil until soft, then add mince nd brown lightly. Stir in the chopped toms and the beer, season to taste and add a large slug of worcestershire sauce. Add the sup mix and stir all together. Bake in a medium oven for one hour. Twenty minutes before the end throw in some herb dumplings.
