Another Cheat's Fish Pie

We usually have it with green beans or broccoli and carrots.

 
 
 
 

Ingredients

I box Tescos Frozen Value Cod steaks (I use these as they fit nicely into the oblong Pyrex dish I use) defrosted,jar of decent quality tomato and basil pasta sauce,cooked sliced potatoes (I always cook extra spuds on a Sunday now for this sort of meal),grated cheddar and mozzarella,you can add some herbs if you like (i've been using an Italian mix of basil sun dried toms and oregano),,

Method

Lay the fish in a pyrex dish, pour over the sauce, add some herbs, layer the potatoes over the top (no need to be too particular) cover with cheese and bake in the oven at 180C for 35 -40 minutes.
