I have been making my own ice-cream for longer than I care to remember. Today I have come up with a really good recipe! It really is the cheapest recipe for a family tub of ice-cream that I can come up with.
Let's not think about the calories or fat content...!
Oh the joys of an ice-cream maker! You can add virtually any flavour to a basic custard recipe and impress family and friends.... For plain vanilla you can add a little extra vanilla essence to the mix (about 12 tsp). Roll on Summer...

another made up recipe by me one sunday using up bits and bobs
Simple and gorgeous (bit like me)
This recipe uses a fast and easy method for a biscuit/ pastry base. Make sure the cream cheese is soft before using to prevent lumps in the mixture.
This tart is good cold or warm with vanilla ice cream.

delicious made with freshly picked and warm soft cherries. can be quite filling but serves 4-6.
from my old copy of Hamlyn All Colour Cookbook - the best lemony cheesecake I've tasted - made more times than I care to remember. I'm sorry, I only have imperial measures.
A simple dessert, good enough to serve at a dinner party.
I like this one, it is an extremely easy recipe. Because you use a lemon jelly there is no need to fiddle with gelatine.
