This is an apple crumble that everyone asks for again and again. Lovely with custard, ice-cream or yoghurt.
This was on the Britains Best Dish, It is so simple, easy and quick and a great alternative to Apple Pie. Use a deep dish as the apple may bubble and raise the crump topping when being cooked. Pre-Heat the Oven to 170 degrees C
This has a truly beautiful taste.I have made it with crabapples, & also with cooking apples.
I use these apples for anything from pies to puffs to just on their own. The amounts depend on how many servings are wanted but this is what I do for four puff pastry rounds (Delia Cheat).
This recipe is made with la Faisselle, which is the original recipe of the traditional draining fromage frais, made in the heart of France in the town of Rians (Loire Valley region). The word La Faisselle comes from the old French word for a cheese making
