2. Peel, core and slice apples and place in oven proof dish add water and sprinke sugar over the apples
3. Make crumble by rubbing marg into flour until breadcrumb consistancy then stir in other ingredients
4. Sprinkle mixture over apples
5. Bake for 30-35 mins until top is crisp n golden brown

Serve hot with ice cream, custard or cream
Ingredients
FRUIT BASE,2/3 med cooking apples,25g sugar (brown or white),2tbsp water,,CRUMBLE MIX,50g marg,100g plain flour,25g sugar (brown or white),25g chopped nuts,25g rolled oats
Method
1. Preheat oven 200c, gas 62. Peel, core and slice apples and place in oven proof dish add water and sprinke sugar over the apples
3. Make crumble by rubbing marg into flour until breadcrumb consistancy then stir in other ingredients
4. Sprinkle mixture over apples
5. Bake for 30-35 mins until top is crisp n golden brown
