Chocolate Sauce Pudding

Serve hot in wodges with scoops of vanilla icecream.



6 oz self-raising flour,4.5 oz. castor sugar,1 oz. cocoa powder,2 oz melted butter,4 fluid oz. milk,3 oz. chopped walnuts (optional),Topping: 1 oz. cocoa powder, 6 oz. soft light brown sugar, 14 fluid oz hot water


Butter a 9 square tin or an ovenproof dish.
Mix flour, castor sugar, cocoa, and mix in the milk and melted butter. Add nuts and spoon into dish.
Mix remaining cocoa with soft brown sugar and sprinkle over the top of the pudding. Pour over the hot water and DO NOT PANIC.
Bake Gas 5/375F/190C about 35 minutes.
