Basic cheesecake recipe
Submitted by Paypol 28 October 2009
This is my basic recipe, the additions to which are endless and fun to experiment with. I've not tried it with additions that are too liquid but its quite adaptable to most things. I use a 10" tin but have made it in an 8" one as well.
Ingredients
1 tub Philly/soft cheese, 1/2pt double cream, 1 pack of biscuits, Enough butter to coat the biscuits
Method
Crush the biscuits and stir through the melted butter. Press into tin and chill whilst you make filling. Whip cream until it is at the floppy peaks stage. Beat in the soft cheese. Add flavouring, spread over biscuit base and chill.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
