Apples for puddings ...

I use one or two tablespoonfuls in the middle of a puff pastry round. Use in a pie, or crumble, or Apple Charlotte, or just on its own.



3 cooking apples,1 tablespoon of marmalade,1 tablespoon brown sugar (any sort),1 tablespoon of mixed fruit (currants sultanas),knob of butter


Melt butter in a pan, add the sugar and stir til melted, add the chopped apples and the rest of the ingredients. Mix together and cook with lid on til apples are soft.
