A simple dessert, good enough to serve at a dinner party.
I like this one, it is an extremely easy recipe. Because you use a lemon jelly there is no need to fiddle with gelatine.
Gorgeous rich chocolate sponge with a thick fudgey-nutty sauce.
Rather rich, so serves 6 with a thick cream or ice cream accompaniment

A very quick and easy chocolate cake with the consistency of brownies. I've used chocolate chips here but I've also made it with a) chopped eating apple to make chocolate and apple slice with teaspoon ground cinnamon b) around Christmas you can buy
Cake ideal for marzipan and sugar pasting. Good cutting qualities and keeps well for up to 10 days. I have used Callebaut 53% chocolate callets for this but you can use your preffered chocolate
This is Marguerite Patton's recipe for a lovely dessert with the sauce underneath the sponge topping
This is from an Asda favourites cookbook. It's really lovely, but I make it with milk chocolate as I'm not keen on dark chocolate.
