Cheesy Apple Tart

This recipe uses a fast and easy method for a biscuit/ pastry base. Make sure the cream cheese is soft before using to prevent lumps in the mixture.
This tart is good cold or warm with vanilla ice cream.

This is an old favourite that I've been making for over 30 years. Sometimes I use plain digestives and stir in ground ginger or cinnamon when mixing with the butter.
