"Greaseproof" Chocolate Cake!

Not really ~ just named that cos the recipe came from the back of a pack of greaseproof paper sheets, back in the very early 60's... This was my birthday treat (with added Smarties on top of the chocolate icing) every year until my mother died in 1984

These really are an all in one breakfast..... You could add spinach, red peppers, sweetcorn etc.... I omitted spinach in my recipe and added mushrooms...really yummy!!

This is a bit like a Bakewell Tart. You can vary the jam that you use. Marmalade is also nice. Makes a big 10 tart which cuts into 10 -12 pieces.

Apple (or Rhubarb) Crumble Cinnamon Cake
