butter melts
Submitted by moose 16 August 2009
These are like shortbread but much lighter, and they just melt in your mouth. At christmas you can add a pinch of cinnamon too.
Ingredients
225g butter
125g corn flour
50g icing sugar
175g self raising flour
Method
1. preheat oven to 160c or 150c for fan. 2. beat together butter & icing sugar. 3. gradually beat in cornflour & flour. 4. use a teaspoon to shape the mixture into small balls. 5. use a fork to lightly press onto the top to flatten the ball slightly. 6. bake in oven for 15 - 20 minutesRecipe images are not uploaded yet.
