Easy Fruit Loaf

Serve sliced and buttered.



Note - this needs to be started the night before you bake!,Take a large tea cup to use for measuring all ingredients specified as 'cups'.,1cup Allbran/,1 cup soft brown sugar/,1 cup dried mixed fruit/,2 tablespoons chopped dried dates/,1 tablespoon chopped walnuts/,1 teaspoon mixed spice/,1 cup milk/,1 cup self-raising flour


Soak all the ingredients EXCEPT the flour overnight in a large mixing bowl.
Add the flour and mix thoroughly.
Place in greased and lined loaf tin.
Bake 180C/350F/Gas 4 for one hour. Cool on rack.
