Chocolate lump cake
Submitted by Eluned 16 November 2009
Never fails to impress. It looks plain before it's cut, but hear the squeals of surprise and delight when it's bitten into!
Ingredients
Wholemeal Madeira cake (Delia's recipe)
200gm bar of milk cholcolate
Method
Make the cake mixture (you could use any old Madeira cake recipe but Delia's is a lovely one) Put half the mixture into the baking tin Break up the chocolate into its squares and place them evenly over the mixturs in the tin. Pour in the rest of the cake mix and cook as per the recipe instructions. Leave to cool and cut. If any is left, it keeps for up to 7 days in a plastic bag/box.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
