Chocolate Brownies
Submitted by Paypol 07 July 2009
These are devine as they are, or even better warmed and served with ice cream as a dessert. Try not to think about the amount of sugar.....
Ingredients
300g sugar, 4 eggs, 225g butter, 75g cocoa powder, 75g self raising flour, 225g chocolate, Optional - 100g mixed nuts, Optional - white choc chips
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Beat together sugar and eggs. Melt the butter and beat into egg mix. Sieve the flour and cocoa into this mix. Melt the chocolate and add. If using, add nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into a greased tin, around 10" square and cook for 25-35mins, depending on how soft you like them. Cool on wire rack and eat! NOTE: you can leave out the chocolate and just double the cocoa powderRecipe images are not uploaded yet.
