Chocolate And Walnut Bread

This bread has been baked for many occasions and is greatly enjoyed. Preparation time:30 minutes plus rising. Cooking:25 minutes Makes 1 loaf serving 8-10
Ingredients
225 gr(8 oz) Strong white flour
half a teaspoon salt.
25g (1 oz) Butter,diced.50gr(2oz) Castor
Sugar 50gr(2 oz) Walnuts,Chopped.1 size 2 Egg,beaten.1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder.
one and a half teaspoons Fast Action Dried yeast.About 125ml)4 fl oz) Warm milk.115g (4 oz) Plain chocolate,roughly
chopped.Icing Sugar for dusting
Method
Grease a 1 lb loaf tin.Put the flour, salt & cocoa into a bowl,rub in the butter,stir in the yeast and castor sugar.then add the egg and milk and mix to a soft dough.Kneed until smooth,add chocolate & walnuts,shape into an oblong place in the tin and cover until doubled in size.Bake in oven 200oC for 25 mins. Turn out and dust with Icing Sugar.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
