Choccy Orangy Muffins
Submitted by Jaki 11 June 2009
This will make 12 large muffins and tastre a little like orange matchmakers. Best eaten whilst still warm with a lovely cup of tea!!!
Ingredients
225g Plain Flour,55g Cocoa Powder,1 TABLESPOON Baking Powder,115g Golden Caster Suger ,1 Large Egg,6 TABLESPOONS Groundnut/Sunflower Oil,7 Fl oz Milk,Zest & Juice of 1 Orange,115g Choccy Chips or Chunks
Method
Preheat the oven to 200. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into a large bowl. In a seperate bowl add all the wet ingredients and stir. Add the eggy liquid to the dry ingredients and mix briefly. The mixture should look lumpy, try not to overmix. Place batter into muffin tin, I prefer the cases cos it's less washing up! Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
