Choc Chip Cookies
My son found this recipe in a comic of his and have been a favourite ever since.
4oz brown sugar,
4oz caster sugar,
6oz SR flour,
½ tsp salt,
½ tsp vanilla extract,
3oz choc chips/chunks,
3oz nuts chopped,,
Pre-heat oven to 150C and grease/line two baking sheets.
Cream butter until pale and fluffy. Add sugars slowly. Add the egg and vanilla. Sieve flour and salt and fold in gently. Add the nuts and choc chips/chunks. Roll out into small walnut sized balls and place on the baking sheets. Bake for 8-10 mins until golden. Leave on the baking tray to cool slightly and transfer to a cooling rack. When cold store in an airtight container, keeps for 2-3 days
