Stir in the flour and eggs. Mix well and pour into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180degrees for one and a half hours, or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from oven and leave to cool in the tin for about 15mins.

Serve sliced and buttered.
Ingredients
12oz dried mixed fruit,1/2 pt strong tea made with 5 tea bags,8 soft brown sugar,10oz plain flour,2 eggs lightly beaten
Method
Pour tea over fruit and sugar in a large mixing bowl and leave to soak overnight.Stir in the flour and eggs. Mix well and pour into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180degrees for one and a half hours, or until a skewer comes out clean. Remove from oven and leave to cool in the tin for about 15mins.
