Put bananas in blender until smooth.
Whisk eggs and the sugar in a bowl .
Add cream, vanilla exstract and half the Drambuie. When smooth, mix in the banana's.
Transfer the mixture into a pastry case and bake in the oven for 40-50 mins. Cool thoroughly.
Melt the Caramac and butter in a bowl over bowling water.
Drizzle the Caramac over the tart .
Allow to cool and place in the fridge until set.
Drizzle the remainder of the Drambuie over the tart before serving

Banana tart with drambuie and caramac

Ingredients
10 sweet pastry case - baked blind,6 eggs,2 medium over ripe bananas,280g c sugar,10 fl oz double cream,1-2 drops vanilla extract,6tbs brambuie,4oz caramac,1/2 oz butter,
Method
Preheat oven to 170 c/gas 3Put bananas in blender until smooth.
Whisk eggs and the sugar in a bowl .
Add cream, vanilla exstract and half the Drambuie. When smooth, mix in the banana's.
Transfer the mixture into a pastry case and bake in the oven for 40-50 mins. Cool thoroughly.
Melt the Caramac and butter in a bowl over bowling water.
Drizzle the Caramac over the tart .
Allow to cool and place in the fridge until set.
Drizzle the remainder of the Drambuie over the tart before serving
