Lightly grease a 23cm Square tin (I use 2 loaf tins)
Mash the Bananas in a mixing bowl
Beat in the Sugar, Flour, Butter and Eggs until well beaten (may look a bit lumpy/curdled, but that's the Banana)
Stir in the Choc / Raisins
Spoon into the tin and bake for 40 - 45 mins or until cooked (test with skewer)
Allow to cool in the tin, before turning out.

Banana Cake

Lovely with a cup of tea or with a glass of milk for the kids. Originally from a Safeway Magazine
Ingredients
4 Ripe Bananas,140g Butter,250g Soft Brown Sugar,2 Eggs,250g SR Flour,225g Raisins or 200g Plain Choc Chips (or even half of both),
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degreesLightly grease a 23cm Square tin (I use 2 loaf tins)
Mash the Bananas in a mixing bowl
Beat in the Sugar, Flour, Butter and Eggs until well beaten (may look a bit lumpy/curdled, but that's the Banana)
Stir in the Choc / Raisins
