Apple , & Cinnamon cake.

When the cake is cooked allow to stand in the tin for at least 20 mins before getting it out, as it is a very moist cake. ENJOY



6 ozs Butter,6 ozs Demerara sugar,8 ozs plain Flour,3 Eggs.,1 Tsp baking Powder,1 Tsp Cinnamon,1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves.,5-6 flozs Plain yogurt.,2 Large Cooking apples peeled & cut into small cubes.,,TOPPING,1 Apple peeled & sliced finely. 1TBl spoon runny honey.,2Tbl spoons demerara sugar,1 Tsp Cinnamon You can use more or less personal taste.


Cream the butter & sugar. Add the beaten egg alittle at a time. I usually add a little flour to stop the mix curdling.Sieve the flour , Baking powder , cloves & cinnamon, then add to the mix. finally fold in the cubed apples , & the yogurt.. Put the mix into a tin , I use an 8 round
Topping peel the apple , & slice then arrange theslices on top of the mix. Drizzle the honey over the apples , then combine the cinnamon , & sugar , & sprinkle on top.
Bake for about 40 t0 45 mins.
