curried Cabbage

serve with roast dinners ETC.



1 med. Cabbage Shredded., 3 ozs Butter, 2 tsps. Chutney, Half tsp. Curry Powder, Grated Rind and Juice of 1 Lemon.


Blanch the cabbage in boiling salted water for 4 mins. Drain well and keep hot. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the chutney, curry powder, lemon rind and juice. pour over the cabbage and leave in a warm place for 10 mins before serving. serves 4
