Stuffing for Turkey

Can be frozen in foil containers or suitable serving dishes.



1 tin unsweetened chestnut puree,1 lb sausagemeat,2 glasses port,1 lb breadcrumbs,2 eggs,2 chopped onions,1 crushed garlic clove,sage or parsley,salt and pepper


Mix the chestnut and sausage meat.
Stir port into breadcrumbs
Add breadcrumbs to meat once they have absorbed all the port
Mix in beaten egg and other ingredients
