Chocolate Mincemeat

Sounds sooo wrong but once tasted you will be converted!
Ingredients
1 x jar of shop mincemeat - 1.5 tabsp cocoa powder - 1 tabsp water - 1tabsp brandy - 50g dark chocolate chip
Method
Place the content of the jar into a small pan, add the cocoa powder, water and brandy. Heat over a gentle heat stirring often until the mixture starts to simmer. Keeping it on a low simmer let it bubble for 2mins. Take off the heat and allow to cool completely. Once cool stir through the choc chips. Store in sterilised jars, will keep for up to 6 weeks once opened keep in the fridge and use within 3 weeks. Use as you would ordinary mincemeat for extraordinary mince pies!Recipe images are not uploaded yet.
