Chinese Style2*Slow cooker* Chicken Wings

Perfect for the slow cooker, No, its not just for stews and casseroles.



  • 2Kg chicken wings.
  • 480ml clear honey.
  • 180-ml soy sauce.
  • 180ml chilli sauce.60 ml oil.
  • 3 cloves of garlic grated.
  • 1 tspn dried mixed herbs.


pat dry the wings and put on a roasting tray sprinkle with salt and pepper, and grill for 10 mins - until slightly golden.Then transfer to your slow cooker, in a bowl mix the honey, soy, chilli sauce, oil, garlic and herbs, stir until well combined, and then pour this over the chicken wings. cover and cook on LOW for 4-5hours (HIGH 2-21/2 hours). remove wings from slow cooker, and pour the "juice" into a saucepan, and boil until sauce has thickened, and use to either dip wings in, or pour over, as garnish.
