FORM A SUPPLE PLIABLE DOUGH AND KNEAD FOR FOR 10 MINS.
ideally covered under cling film for 10-15 mins to rest.
divide the dough into 8-10 portions, roll out each portion into a circle on a well floured surface.
put a heavy fry pan over a high heat ......when steam rises add the first chapati to the pan,,,
when it starts to bubble turn it over,,,
press it down with a clean tea cloth and turn once more,
remove from the pan and keep warm in a peice of tin foil with kitchen paper over the top.
while you cook the other chapatis,

chapatis is unleaved bread....this is the very day bread of the indian home.
Ingredients
225g chapati flour/ground wholemeal/whole wheat flour.,1/2 t spn salt.,175ml water.
Method
Place the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a well, and gradualy add the wtaer, mixing well with your fingers.FORM A SUPPLE PLIABLE DOUGH AND KNEAD FOR FOR 10 MINS.
