Cauliflower Braised In Goat's Cheese Sauce

serve with roasts, chicken,lamb,beef etc.



1 garlic clove split, 5 ozs medium-fat soft goat's cheese, half pint stock, 1 cauliflower seperated into florets, salt and freshly ground pepper


(1) preheat oven to gas mk. 7, rub the inside of a gratin dish with garlic, then leave the garlic in the dish.
(2) put cheese and stock in a blender and blend until smooth.
(3) spread the cauliflower out in the gratin dish and pour the blended mixture over it. Season with salt and pepper,
cover tightly and bake in the oven for 20 mins, then uncover and stir, Re-cover and bake for a further 20 mins or until cauliflower is tender.
