CELERIAC AU GRATIN

Ingredients

Depending on how many you're feeding .. ...,,Your quantity of celariac cauliflower and or broccoli,,Good thickish cheddar cheese sauce with English mustard.,,Good handful of grated parmesan & fresh breadcrumbs mixed.,

Method

Heat the oven to 190*C & butter a gratin dish.

Peel & cut the celeriac into thickish slivers & steam with the cauli/broccoli until just al denté. Drain well & place in the dish.

Pour over the cheese sauce, & sprinkle over the combined parmesan & breadcrumbs.

Place on a baking sheet (in case it bubbles over) & bake for 20/25mins or til the top is golden & crispy.

This is especially good with a baked ham, a steak or a slice of gammon as you get the moistness of the sauce when there isn't a gravy,
