Boston Baked Beans

Serve with toast .
Ingredients
1lb Dried Haricot Beans,2 tablespoons Molasses,1tsp dried mustard,2 tablespoons Veg Bouillon powder,4 tablespoons Tomato puree,2 tablespoons very dark brown sugar,2 bay leaves,pinch thyme,pinch sage
Method
Wash and soak beans for 6-8 hrs drain and replace water bring to boil and boil hard for 10 mins then simmer for 1 1/2 hrs .Drain beans retaining cooking water . Put beans with all other ingrendients in a deep ovenproof dish add 1pt of bean cooking water. Cover and cook for 4-6 hrs in cool oven . I cook it for 6-8 hrs in a slow cooker.They freeze well and are yummy
