Ingredients
6 oz wholemeal flour, 4 oz raw beetroot finely grated, 1 oz sugar, 3-4 tbsp milk,half a tsp baking powder,quarter of an oz butter or margarine, few drops vanilla essence
Method
set oven to gas mk 5sieve together flour and baking powder, rub butter/margarine lightly into the flour until it looks like bread crumbs.
